Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be prepared by our chef Cecile, and enjoyed in community.
The food will be, as much as possible, locally sourced and organic, and without exception, delicious.
Within reason, food allergies/restrictions can be accommodated. If you’ve got specific needs, please get in touch to see what is possible.
Guests staying in the Tin Poppy and Cabins will also have kitchenettes and room to store snacks, if desired.
There are a variety of sleeping options at different price points.
Regardless of whether you choose a room in the Lavender House or a cabin, all participants will have access to the showers and tub in the Lavender House.
The Tin Poppy House is equipped with an outdoor shower, the Lavender House, Violet Cabin and Tin Poppy also have saunas.
The Lavender House is a spacious timber frame lodge perched on the edge of the Larch Hills. The house has breathtaking views of the Enderby Cliffs and the Shuswap River below. This will be the main workshop/gathering space for the writing retreat.
It has a large gourmet style country kitchen and BBQ, spacious living room with fireplace, 2 full bathrooms (with locally made beer soap for hair and body), an outdoor shower, one large screened-in deck with a rock fireplace and a wood-burning sauna.
